Final Chances to Hop Into €5M Guaranteed King's Million EPC Super Main Event

King's Poker Room
King's Poker Room

The inaugural King's Million European Poker Championship has been a hit with European poker players. Smashed guarantees, huge prize pools, and a chock-full poker room have become an everyday occurrence at King's Resort, but the biggest day will come today, as the two penultimate starting flights of the €1,150 EPC Super Main Event, will get underway.

Day 1e will get underway at 11 a.m. local time, and will in all likelihood become the biggest starting flight of all. Day 1f is its speedy counterpart with 30-minute levels, and it will kick off at 6 p.m. local time. Meanwhile, Day 1g, taking place on October 4 at 11 a.m., just hours before Day 2, presents a final chance to qualify for one of Europe's biggest mid-stakes tournaments and get a share of the massive €5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. All flights will play down to 12,5 percent of their fields, while 15 percent of players will receive a payout.

So far, 2,816 entries have been made in the Super Main Event, putting a big dent in the guarantee already. So far, Romanian player Nik has been the only one to amass more than 30 starting stacks, grabbing the chip lead on Day 1a with 1,554,000. Day 1b chipleader Mourad Tounnouti follows at 1,404,000, while WPT champion Konstantinos Nanos (1,250,000) and bracelet winner Narcis-Gabriel Nedelcu (1,218,000) have also battled their way into the top ten.
