In the inaugural edition of the 2026 King's Million European Poker Championship series, expectations were high as the €1,150 EPC Super Main Event featured a massive €5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. After setting records on Saturday, another big field arrived to help push the final numbers even higher.
After the final flight of the week drew another 916 entries, the final number was set at an impressive 7,013. That saw the guaranteed prize pool easily surpassed, as the overall prize pool was set at €6,855,207.
Every table in the poker room was full to begin Day 2, where 852 players took their seat in the money looking to put together a deep run at King’s Resort. After playing deep into the night, Estonia's Erik Polluveer claimed the chip lead with 10,080,000, the only player to bag up an eight-figure stack.
Following a pair of anonymous players sitting behind Polluveer is Lennart Beumelburg, who collected 7,325,000 chips to sit in fourth position. Poland's Maciej Swicarz rounds out the top five with 7,315,000, positioned well for a shot at the monster payouts available at the final table.

The player known as LUPO set a jovial tone to start the day, sitting down at his table in full costume before bowing out in 606th place for €2,700.
Plenty of notable names were in contention when cards hit the felt, and the eliminations began at blazing speed. Among the higher profile exits of the day were Lukas Pazma (152nd - €5,125), Jan Bendik (168th - €5,125), Zdenek Zizka (331st - €3,300), along with Czech superstar and six-time WSOP bracelet winner Martin Kabrhel (366 - €3,300).
Will Kassouf found himself at the feature table under the bright lights of the King's Resort stream, and got his chips into the middle in a classic flip. Kassouf could not find any help, and exited the stage in 324th place to take home €3,300.
There were a number of other recognizable faces that did survive to see another day, including WSOP bracelet winners Antonello Ferraiuolo (1,775,000), Dalibor Dula and (1,565,000), and Narcis-Gabriel Nedelcu (1,410,000).
The average stack for all 108 contenders is 40 big blinds, so there will be plenty of room to work for those needing a boost early on when they return to the tables.
The penultimate day will begin at 2:00 p.m. local time, where the clock will restart with 35:00 remaining on Level 25. Blinds will stay 40,000/80,000 along with a big blind ante of 80,000.
All returning players have locked up at least €6,525, sitting less than 20 places away from the next pay jump. The top seven places with earn six-figure scores, while the top prize of €862,300 await the champion.

The action was caught with around 1,200,000 in the middle and the full board reading 7♦6♠J♥6♣Q♦.
Ran Shahar, in the small blind, bet out 900,000. PATELLA, in the cutoff, moved all-in and Shahar beat him into the pot with a snap-call.
