Full for Hougaard

Level 4 : 200/500, 0 ante
Jesper Hougaard
Jesper Hougaard

Jesper Hougaard was one of two players that invested 10,000 chips on an ace-high turn against Jozef Vavrik, who tabled a wheel in showdown on the river to bump his stack up.

Hougaard then headed into a battle of the blinds with Jaqen H'ghar and the German check-called a bet of 1,500 by Hougaard on the {q-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} flop. The {j-Hearts} turn was checked and Jaqen H'ghar check-called 5,000 on the {q-Clubs} river.

Hougaard flashed {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for a full house and Jaqen H'ghar mucked {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}.

Allaf Eliminated

Yordanov Karagogov
Yordanov Karagogov

With 2,500 invested preflop, a four-way flop of {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} emerged and Asuda Allaf bet the pot. Big stack Yordanov Karagogov pondered about his decision for a while and raised, then got it in against Allaf with {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{7-} for aces and the nut flush draw.

Allaf had flopped the nut straight and the [10dd] turn also gave him the diamond draw. However, the {k-Hearts} river improved Karagogov to the ace-high straight and the rich got richer.

Ulrich Pauls
Ulrich Pauls

Three players including Mr. Inkognito and Volkan Demirbas limped in and Ulrich Pauls raised to 3,500 in the big blind. Mr. Inkognito called and Demirbas also came along. The flop came {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and all three players checked. Pauls bet the {q-Spades} turn for 7,500 and received two calls before betting the {j-Spades} river for 25,000.

Mr. Inkognito raised to 62,000 with some chips behind to force a fold from Demirbas and Pauls called all in for 58,000.

Mr. Inkognito turned over {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Pauls tabled {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a full house to hit the rail.

Irena Macesovic
Irena Macesovic

Gisle Olsen bagged up chips on Day 1a while Irena Macesovic was eliminated and both are trying to do better today in order to have a decent chance at the seven-figure prize pool.

Olsen is just below the starting stack while Macesovic is above that. In a recent hand, Macesovic bet the pot for 18,000 on the {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop and won the pot right there.

Wieser Takes From Vavrik

Level 4 : 200/500, 0 ante

Just before the end of the previous level, Jozef Vavrik took on Maximilian Wieser and faced a bet of 8,500 by Wieser in the blinds with the board reading {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, which he called. Wieser then bet the {6-Diamonds} river for 18,500 and that proved to be too much for Vavrik.
