Similar to the elimination of The Talk in the first level of Day 1a, another player managed to turn 500 big blinds into thin air and that happened to be Renato Nowak. All cards were scooped up already and he asked for the floor about a possible re-entry while Yordanov Karagogov was busy stacking up his chips.
Lukas Zaskodny has a PLO bracelet from the 2017 World Series of Poker Europe right here at King's Casino and he also won the MILLIONS Main Event a few weeks ago for a hefty payday. The Czech is among those to take a seat recently along with Erich Kollmann, Vlado Sevo, Stefan Rapp and Marek Tatar.
On a three-way flop of , Serhii Surkis checked out of the big blind and Tomasz Kozub bet 1,600 on the button. Only Surkis called and checked again the turn, on which he called a second barrel for 4,400.
On the river, Surkis check-called a third bet of 7,000 after long consideration and Kozub turned over for a set of tens to scoop a nice pot early on.
Three-ways to the turn, the action checked to Katja Rooch and she bet 1,000. Jonas Kronwitter was the only caller and the on the river was checked through.
Rooch announced a flush and turned over the to scoop the pot.
Picking up the action on the , Alexandre Viard on the button faced Destructor55 in the big blind and his bet of 500 was check-raised to 1,700. Viard opted to call and Destructor55 immediately continued for 3,700 on the turn. That proved to be too much for Viard, who sent his cards into the muck.
SVARAS already played on Day 1a and was sent to the rail, as was Renato Nowak, and both are on the list of registered players for Day 1b. New faces in the tournament include Guenter Halak, Sameer Khurana, Ankit Kapoor and Alexandre Viard.
In one hour from now the second and final live starting day of the 2019 The Big Wrap kicks off at King's Casino and Resort in Rozvadov near the border to Germany. The tournament comes with a price tag of €2,350 and a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000, which certainly gathers the attention of four-card poker lovers from near and far to showcase their Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) skills at the tables.
The first live Day 1 attracted a field of 128 players and 52 hopefuls punched their tickets last night. On top of that, 10 players out of 20 entries also claimed a stack to their name on the virtual felt via event co-sponsor partypoker. Anton Morgenstern topped the online Day 1 with an impressive stack of 535,000 and he sits in third place behind Day 1a chip leader Sergey Verkhoturov (1,070,000) and Didier Rabl (726,000).
Whether or not anyone will be able to turn their 100,000 starting stack into more than that remains to be seen in the hours to come as the second flight is scheduled to play 12 levels of 40 minutes each. There will be a break every three levels and a 60-minute dinner break after the completion of level six.

The late registration and re-entry period for the event remains open all Day 1 and in the first two 40-minute levels on Day 2. All players have the option to re-enter twice per Day 1 and on Day 2, and the best stack forward applies if participants should bag up more than once. The only player to do so on partypoker and Day 1a was King's regular The Talk.
Richard Toth
Four-Way Deal in €550 Warm-Up
Another event concluded yesterday evening and Hungary's Richard Toth topped a field of 450 entries in the €550 Big Wrap Warm-Up. Toth finished second in this very event in the April 2019 edition and there was a deal with four players remaining with money left up for grabs to the eventual champion.
