Leek First Out

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Monika Leek is the first player out of the Main Event. Shortly after, Andrius Sinkevicius, who was very short on chips, followed her to the rail.

They will both have plenty of time to re-enter with two opening flights and late-registration open until the first blind level is concluded on tomorrow's Day 2.

Martin Doubles off Sinkevicius

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Andrius Sinkevicius was the first player out of the Main Event.

Martin Zobel bet 2,500 into a pot of a bit more with the {4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} on the flop. Sinkevicius raised to 5,000 before Zobel jammed for around 25,000.

Sinkevicius paused for about 30 seconds before he made the call.

Martin Zobel: {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Andrius Sinkevicius: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

Sinkevicius began to get out of his seat when he saw his opponent held a set. Neither the {8-Hearts} on the turn nor the {j-Clubs} on the river were able to save Sinkevicius and he was left with 300 chips.

Despite having a few chips he was leaving the table anyway.

"You should play the rest of your stack," Zobel said to his opponent.

Sinkevicius agreed and sat back down. He doubled up the next hand and will try to run up a stack of 700 in chips.

More than 200!

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

The field has already grown to 207 entrants with many new players filing into their seat to start the blind level.

Big Slick for Bernatavicius

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Gytis Bernatavicius checked with 3,500 in the pot and the {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} on the board before Harri Salo bet 2,000.

Bernatavicius paused for close to a minute before he called.

Both players checked after the {3-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Bernatavicius turned over {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} for trips. Salo shook his head and quickly flashed {a-}{q-} to his opponent before he tossed his hand into the muck.

Mardosa Picks off an Early Bluff

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Justinas Mardosa checked with the {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Hearts} on the board before Roman Gluhovtsenko bet 2,500 into a pot of around 7,000.

Mardosa tanked for a minute before he made the call.

Gluhovtsenko was asked to turn over his cards. Instead, he tossed them face down into the muck and by default, Mardosa was awarded the pot.
