Brazilian Models Update

Angelita Feijo sweats Vaness Machado
Angelita Feijo sweats Vaness Machado
Breaking news.... what do former Brazilian models do after they bust out of the LAPT Mar del Plata? They head to the bar and return to sweat their other model friends.

Angelita Feijo busted a couple of hours ago, but she's currently sweating her friend Vanessa Machado. She was even kind enough to bring a draft beer over to Vanessa.

Vanessa Machado Eliminated

Vanessa Machado
Vanessa Machado
This is the post we all hoped would never be written. Vanessa moved in before the flop and was called by two players, including Jose Barbero. After the {A-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {10-Hearts} flop Jose and the other player got all the chips in the middle and Jose's {A-Hearts} {10-Clubs} made a bigger two pair than his opponent's {A-?} {5-?}. Vanessa revealed her {K-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} and was drawing very, very thin. The {7-Spades} on the turn and the {Q-Clubs} on the river meant that Barbero won a big pot and that Vanessa Machado's night came to a much-too-early end.

Wait and See

There's a bit more than eight minutes left in Level ten--we may stop there, or we may keep going a bit to see if we can get down to 27 players. We stand at 31 right now and we'll have a better idea what's going to happen in about...eight minutes.

Chris Moneymaker Eliminated

Moneymaker = Busto
Moneymaker = Busto
After losing a race with pocket tens versus Big Slick, Chris Moneymaker was short stacked and down to his last 4,800 in chips. He shoved from early position. The button reraised a huge amount and the blinds quickly folded.

Moneymaker: {9-Clubs} {8-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}

The flop was {J-?} {10-?} {4-?} and Moneymaker flopped an open-ended straight draw.

"Queen ball!" shouted Moneymaker as he stood up.

The turn was a blank and the river was a {K-?}. His opponent rivered a Broadway straight (but was ahead anyway) to win the pot. After a long day 1a, Moneymaker was eliminated.
