William Reynolds Eliminated in 13th Place ($6,595)

According to Sol Bergren, on the last hand before the race off took place William Reynolds got all in with Peter De Koster on an eight-high flop after Reynolds had raised preflop. Koster's pocket fours were able to go runner-runner to make a straight against Reynolds holding {A-?}

and he was sent to the rail in 13th place.

Alin v. Levesque I

One way to silence a talker at the poker table is to show him a bluff, and that's exactly what Pandilica Alin just did to Eric Levesque in a recent hand.

Alin limped into the pot from early position holding {8-Clubs}

and action folded around the table to Levesque in the big blind who decided to raise, making it a total of 36,000 to play.

"I reraise," announced Alin, kicking it up to 101,000.

A small speech followed from Levesque, but he eventually folded, conceding the pot to Alin.

After he raked in the pot, Alin tabled his cards, showing the bluff.

"You speak too much," Alin told Levesque, prompting a few laughs from others at the table.

Clay Maguire Eliminated in 12th Place ($7,851)

Clay Maguire has just been eliminated from the tournament by fellow American Steven Merrifield.

Short-stacked, Maguire open-shoved holding ace-jack and was called by Merrifield who woke up to kings. Merrifield had Maguire covered by approximately 5,000 chips.

Merrifield's kings held up (we're relatively certain he made kings full) and he took down the pot, improving to 250,000 in chips.

Maguire will take home $7,851 in prize money for his 12th place finish.

Pardo Storms Back to the Top

Pandilica Alin raised to 25,000 and Carlos Giron called. On the button, Rogelio Pardo reraised to 60,000. Alin then re-reraised to 110,000 and Giron ducked out of the way. Pardo then stuck in another raise to 210,000.

Alin tanked for a few minutes before calling the clock on himself. Then, he made the call. Pardo had 169,000 behind going to the flop and Alin had 249,000.

The flop came down {K-Hearts}

and Alin took a minute before moving all in. Pardo let out a big sigh, sat upright and then made the call, tabling {A-Clubs}

. Alin held {J-Diamonds}

The turn was the {9-Spades}

and the river the {6-Spades}

. After he shipped over the 169,000, Alin was left with 180,000 chips. Pardo stormed back to the top with nearly 800,000 chips.

Hitching a Ride on the Sol Train

Sol Bergren has just doubled through to 382,000 in chips -- the result of a four-way raised pot, midway through the 19th level of play.

Steve Merrifield opened the pot with a raise to 22,000 from under-the-gun which was called by Daniel Mar (cutoff) and Darren Keyes (button). Patrick De Koster folded his small blind and Bergren checked his option in the big.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}

and all four players checked, sending the action to the turn: {K-Clubs}

Bergren checked, and Merrifield took a stab at the pot, firing a 35,000 bet. Bergren was the lone caller and the two went heads-up to the river: {4c)

Another check from Bergren and Merrifield bet enough to put Bergren all in (approximately 150,000). Bergren made the call and tabled {K-Hearts}

for the absolute nuts.

"Very nice hand," said Merrifield as he mucked the losing hand, leaving himself with 340,000 in chips.
