Just as Dominik Nitsche did before the previous break, Christian de Leon has made a quiet exit to the rail just prior to the second break of the tournament.
We unfortunately missed the hand, but with his seat empty, and de Leon now where to be found, we can only assume the worse.
The Team PokerStars Mexico Pro now leaves just Angel Guillen to represent their country; and with nearly 100,000 in chips, Guillen is definitely waving the green, white and red tricolor flag proudly!
Angel Guillen is surely looking to put his WSOP Main Event behind him. If you remember our coverage of the Main Event a couple weeks ago, Guillen finished in the worst possible spot, 749th place. Although Guillen wasn't the official bubble boy, he fell short of the money by two spots, meaning he wouldn't even receive the $10,000 seat to next year's Main Event like the official bubble boy does every year. Here at LAPT Florianopolis, Guillen is doing more than enough to make sure he can turn his luck around. He's been on fire here in the early goings and sits atop the leaderboard with about 100,000 chips. No one looks even the slightest bit close to him as we gander around the room, but of course that could change quickly as the day goes on.
With 8,900 in the middle, the board read between one player and Victor Ramdin. The man represneting Team PokerStars Pro USA, Ramdin, moved all in for 14,175. His opponent tanked for some time and eventually tossed his hand away. Ramdin was pushed the pot without having to see a rive or go to a showdown and is back to 23,075 in chips.
After a player limped from under the gun, action folded to Brandon Demes in middle position. He raised to 700. The big blind and under-the-gun limper both called.
The flop came down and the big blind fired 600. the under-the-gun player folded and then Demes made the call.
The turn brought the and the big blind fired 1,200. Demes called again.
The river completed the board with the and both players checked. The big blind turned up the and Demes held the .
Demes held the better two pair and scooped the pot. He's now sitting on 32,000 in chips.

According to Maridu Mayrinck, Angel Guillen just took a nice pot off her when he flopped a set of deuces on a flop of . Mayrinck held for top two pair on the flop. She went from about 40,000 to 24,000 in chips thanks to Guillen.
