Action on first hand
It didn't take long for the action to get going on table two. Steven Thompson opened with a raise from early position before Valerio Valera moved in from mid-position and Gino Guidi moved all-in from late position. Thompson folded to leave it at heads-up showdown:

The board ran 
. There were cheers and groans from both players as one took the lead, had taken away and regained it again. Velera's full house was good in the end leaving Guidi crippled.
