Welcome to Day 2 of the Latin American Poker Tour-Colombia here at the Allegre Casino in Medellin. Today, 205 players will return to action, including PokerStars Team Pros Humberto Brenes (Costa Rica) and Andre Akkari (Brazil); Days 1a and 1b chip leaders Freddy Torres (207,000) and Leandro Csome (149,000); current LAPT Player of the Year leader Pablo Gonzalez; LAPT Uruguay final tablist Engelberth Varela; and the man currently in second on the LAPT Player of the Year Leaderboard, Daniel Ospina.

While all of these men are looking for LAPT glory, only 63 of the remaining players will earn a payday, with the first-place prize being a whopping $288,329,000 Columbian Pesos, or about $150,000 USD. Not too shabby for the largest LAPT Main Event in history with 681 entrants, surpassing the 621 entries of Chile's Vina del Mar event back in March.

Day 2 action is set to kick off at noon local time tomorrow, which is about an hour and a half away. We expect it to be a long and grueling day as the remaining field is set to play down to a final table, or at least come as close as possible. The money bubble likely burst in the late afternoon, and you can rest assured the PokerNews Live Reporting will be here to bring you all the latest hands, action, and eliminations from the LAPT-Colombia.
