Zogbi Doubles Through Menendez

From early position, Claudio Garrone made it 9,000 and was called by Francisco Neto in the cutoff. Julian Menendez pushed out a three-bet to 29,000 from the small blind and Rubens Zogbi four-bet all in for 66,500. Garrone and Neto got out of the way and Menendez called.

Zogbi: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Menendez: {K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The board fell {4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{J-Spades} and Zogbi's ace-queen high was able to hold. Menendez, however, who started the day as third in chips, has fallen far out of the top ten.

Resquin Wins the Race

Damian Salas opened the action by moving all in for 35,000 from under the gun. It folded around to Osvaldo Silvio Resquin who made the call from the big blind.

Salas tabled {Q-Spades}{10-Spades} and was racing with Resquin's {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. The flop brought {4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Resquin was still in the lead. Salas would need to pair his queen or ten in order to stay alive, but found no solace in the {2-Hearts} turn and the {J-Clubs} river.

Nacho Barbero - Eliminated
Nacho Barbero - Eliminated

Team PokerStars Pro Nacho Barbero opened to 8,000 from under the gun. Action folded to Guido Ruffini in the small blind who three-bet to 22,000. Barbero called and the two were off to the flop.

{Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} were spread in front of the two players and Ruffini checked to Barbero. Barbero opted to check as well and the {9-Clubs} came on fourth street. Ruffini checked for a second time and Nacho pushed out 26,000 chips. Ruffini responded by announcing that he was all in.

Ruffini had Barbero covered and after a moment, Barbero announced a call for his tournament life.

Barbero: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Ruffini: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}

Barbero was in dire need of help going to the river, and did not find it when the {8-Diamonds} struck the board.

Barbero, who won this event in the LAPT's third season, will have to settle for a more minor cash this time around.

Barbero's elimination leaves Angel Guillen as the only Team PokerStars Pro standing.

Three Ladies for Lategui

Martin Lategui Loves the Ladies
Martin Lategui Loves the Ladies

Bernardo Dias opened to 8,500 from late position. Action folded to Martin Lategui in the small blind who pushed out a three-bet to 20,500.

Dias waited for a moment before plopping a large stack of blue T5,000 chips into the middle that had Lategui's stack covered.

"All in? All in!" announced Lategui, flipping up {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}. Unfortunately for Lategui, he was behind Dias' {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}.

The flop fell {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Lategui was in need of one of the two remaining queens in the deck to stay alive. Dias' head sunk deeply into his hands as the {Q-Diamonds} rolled off on the turn. The board completed with the {5-Clubs} on the river and Lategui was able to score a key double up while crippling Dias.

Baduy: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

Baduy grabbed a strong lead, flopping a set with the {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop. The {k-Hearts} and {7-Spades} were of no help to Schejtman and he was sent packing.

Dobrovolskiy: {Q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Romeu: {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}

Dobrovolskiy took the lead, pairing his queen on a {7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} flop.
