Fonseca Busts Nunez

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

We missed the action of the hand, but can report that Renato Nunez was all in for about 105,000 holding {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} against the {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} of Marcelo Ramos Da Fonseca.

The board came {5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Fonseca's ace-king high was enough to take down the pot and send Nunez home. Fonseca is now sitting on a stack of 330,000.

Ivan Luca Flops Full Boats
Ivan Luca Flops Full Boats

Ivan Luca started the day as chip leader, but he has been relatively quiet until now. Luca opened the action preflop for 13,000 only to find Dante Lenell move all in for roughly 65,000. Luca called and the hands were turned over:

Luca: {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Lenell: {A-Spades}{J-Spades}

Luca found himself in a tremendously good position when the flop came {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}. The turn and river brought the {9-Clubs} and {9-Clubs} respectively, and Lenell was sent home,a victim of Luca's flopped full house.

{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{3-Hearts} were spread out in front of the three players. Both Neto and Luca checked to Melogno who fired out 23,000. Neto got out of the way and Luca called.

Both players checked when the {3-Clubs} turned and put a second pair on the board. The river was the {4-Clubs} and Luca bet 18,000.
