Justin Phillips Eliminated in 8th Place ($7,580)

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Justin Phillips
Justin Phillips

Justin Phillips went all in preflop with the {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and got called by the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} of Charlie Dawson.

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and with no improvement, Phillips fell short of the double and was knocked out in eighth place.

Phillips took home $7,580 and will hopefully make it back to Prime Social again soon.

We Have Reached The Final Table!

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Main Event Final Table
Main Event Final Table

Nine players remain in the hunt for the $60,030 top prize and the sterling silver trophy belt buckle. Among those nine are several Houston or Texas locals, plus a couple that players should watch out for.

Min Zhang is sitting with 2,650,000 and is the only person at the table who has already won an event this week. Zhang won the $400 NLH event earlier this week for $9,650.

Charlie Dawson is a familiar face in the WSOP streets. Dawson holds three WSOP circuit rings, 8 WSOP cashes, 73 WSOP Circuit cashes, and just over $800,000 in live earnings.

Nine players enter the Main Event Final Table but only one will prevail. PokerNews Updates will go on a 30 minute delay and come back with updates timed with the Final Table broadcast.

A huge crowd was around the table as local favorite, Sung Kim was all-in with {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} against the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} of Oziel Zuniga.

Flop:{j-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

The flop gave Zuniga a broadway draw and he didn't have to wait long.

Turn: {10-Diamonds}

Only one of the three remaining kings could save Kim but the river brought the {4-Clubs} sending the pot and nearly everything Kim had, to Zuniga.

Three Way All-In Sends Henson Home Early

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Sung Kim
Sung Kim

Three players found themselves all-in preflop with one player covering the rest.

Charlie Dawson: {k-}{k-}
Ray Henson: {q-}{q-}
Sung Kim: {7-}{7-}

With a flop and turn of {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, it looked as if Dawson could take down the first 5,000,000 pot. Then the river {7-Spades} came sending a small portion of the entire pot Kim's direction. Kim was the shortest and experienced a full triple up while Dawson came out ahead by nearly 700,000 after sending Henson out.

Henson could only shake his head as he gathered his belongings and made his way to the cage.
