Nine players remain in the hunt for the $60,030 top prize and the sterling silver trophy belt buckle. Among those nine are several Houston or Texas locals, plus a couple that players should watch out for.

Min Zhang is sitting with 2,650,000 and is the only person at the table who has already won an event this week. Zhang won the $400 NLH event earlier this week for $9,650.

With a flop and turn of , it looked as if Dawson could take down the first 5,000,000 pot. Then the river came sending a small portion of the entire pot Kim's direction. Kim was the shortest and experienced a full triple up while Dawson came out ahead by nearly 700,000 after sending Henson out.
