At 2 PM local time, Day 3 of the €550 Grand Event will kick off with the 24 remaining players, out of 1,366 entries, in their seats. They will play down to a final table today and the action is expected to be just as fast-paced as yesterday as they’re all competing for the inaugural MPF Grand Event title, trophy, and the first-place prize of €150,000!
Topping the chip counts is Norway’s Dorge Dypvik with 3,120,000, followed by Eyal Bensimhon (2,500,000), Espen Uhlen Jorstad (2,430,000), Andre Henning (2,155,000), and Steven Iglesias with 2,075,000.
Henning, Bensimhon, and Iglesias are all seated on the same table which also includes Emanuele Onnis, Fabian Gumz, Elio Caferro, Gary Banks, and Francesco Cortorillo. Dypvik and Jorstad and sharing the same table felt with Idan Raz, Colin Lovelock, Yoav Scheiman, Giovanna Dimartino, Harvey Norris, and Federico Petruzzelli.

The tournament clock was paused last night when there were 24 players remaining and 11 minutes left in the level. The assumption is that they will continue in that level which was Level 26 with a small blind of 25,000, big blind of 50,000, and a running ante of 5,000. Level duration will change to 60 minutes each with a break scheduled after every 2 levels. Officially there is a 75-minute dinner break scheduled around 8 PM.
