With a raise to 1,400 ahead of him, Hugo Loustau called in the hijack before Sebastian Curcu three-bet to 5,500, one seat to his left, in the cutoff. The original raiser folded, but Loustau called again.
Both players checked the 9♣8♣9♠ flop, seeing Loustau take over the betting lead with a wager of 4,500 on the 7♣ turn. Curcu made the call.
The river 10♣ saw both players happy to go to a showdown. After they both checked, Loustau tabled 5♣5♥, which was enough to claim the pot as Curcu mucked his cards.
