After a raise to 1,600 from the player in the hijack, Roy Trickett called in the small blind. Bjarke Matthiesen responded with a three-bet from the big blind to 7,000. The original raiser folded, but Trickett called a second time.
Both players checked on the 6♥Q♥2♦ flop, seeing the A♠ turn added to the board.
Trickett checked again and called when Matthiesen bet 5,000.
Action checked through on the 10♦ river, with Trickett announcing he had a queen. It was no good, though, as Matthiesen flipped over A♥J♣ for a superior pair.
