A pot of 30,000 had developed by the turn, on a board of K♣2♦2♥10♦, in a hand between Francisco Jimenez in the cutoff and Ferry Janssen in the small blind.

Janssen fired out a bet of 21,500, and after quite a bit of deliberation, Jimenez called.

The 9♦ river completed the board, and Janssen took at least two minutes before he moved all in for around 49,000, sending Jimenez deep into the tank.

After around three minutes, Jimenez made the call, but was shown the bad news when Janssen tabled A♣2♣ for the rivered trip deuces. Jimenez had K♠Q♠ for two pair, kings and deuces.

Julien Stropoli opened to 3,500 from the cutoff, and received calls from Alexander Maskell and Jaime Lozano Diaz in the blinds.

The J♣10♦6♣ flop was checked through to the 6♦ turn, where Maskell led out with a bet of 5,000. Only Stropoli called.

The 3♥ river completed the board, and Maskell continued with a downsized bet of 5,000, which proved enough to force Stropoli to fold.

Johannes-Herald Stephan opened under the gun to 2,500, and received calls from a player in middle position, along with Harry Sandford on the button, and the blinds, including Charly Maitre in the small blind.

The A♣10♠5♦ flop was checked through to the 6♥ turn, where Maitre led out with a bet of 3,000. Only Stephan and Sandford called.

The J♣ river completed the board, and Maitre fired out a bet of 12,000. Stephan folded, but after some consideration Sandford jammed for 45,600.

Maitre got a count but let his hand go in relatively swift order.

On the K♠3♠3♦ flop, Jimenez check-called versus a bet of 2,000 from Soulier.

The same pattern followed on the A♠ turn, this time in respect of a bet of 3,500 from Soulier.

The 6♦ river was checked through, and Jimenez took the pot when he tabled A♦8♥ for the turned pair of aces.

A pot of around 18,400 had developed on a flop of Q♣8♦4♥, in a hand between Yannis Bidard in the hijack and Andrew Fleming in the small blind.

Fleming fired out a bet of 6,000 and Bidard called.

The K♥ hit on the turn, slowing Fleming down, who checked to his opponent. Bidard took a bit of time to think before moving all-in with the covering stack, forcing a quick fold from Fleming.

Action was checked to Diaz, who fired out a bet of 10,000. Gordon check-jammed for around 28,500, Behrendt moved his stack of 31,000 into the middle, and Diaz called with the covering stack.
