Angelinas Good at Showdown

Level 1 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Georgios Angelinas opened to 700 from the button, and Martin Byrne defended the big blind.

Byrne, fresh off a win in The Hendon Mob Championship at the Irish Open, check-raised to 1,300 in the face of a continuation bet of 400 from Angelinas on the KK5 flop.

Angelinas quickly called, but there was no further action on the 6 turn or Q river.

Byrne tabled 42 for the missed flush draw, and Angelinas was relieved to take the pot with 33.
