As Di Cosimo raked in the pot, he asked "Two pair?", and Rogan confirmed "King-jack".

The flop was checked to the 4♦ turn, where Aboussaad fired out a bet of 2,500, which failed to dispose of Ruiz.

The 3♣ river completed the board, and Ruiz folded to a further bet of 5,500 from Aboussaad.

Aboussaad tabled A♠A♦ for two pair, and Stergios sent his cards to the muck despite him being all-in. Ruiz stated he had ace-king.

With around 16,400 in the middle in a three-way three-bet pot, Jamie Scheper fired out a bet of 5,600 from the small blind on a flop of A♦5♣5♦. Angela Rogan called from early position, and Jonathan Briscoe White folded in the next seat.

The flush-completing 9♦ hit on the turn, and Scheper checked. Rogan quickly fired out a bet of 10,000.

Scheper laughed and looked at his cards again. "I misread my hand, I thought I had pocket eights!", as he open-folded 8♥6♠.

The popular poker room near Austin, Texas, was raided back on March 10, and authorities had a 30-day window, until April 9, to file for civil asset forfeiture. Despite not yet filing any criminal charges, authorities did file a document with the 480th Judicial District Court in Williamson County that explained why the state is holding on to over $2 million in assets despite no criminal charges being filed.

The future of The Lodge Card Club is uncertain now that the state can hold onto the money. But Thursday’s outcome doesn’t mean this is the end for the major poker club, nor does it ensure criminal charges will never be filed. The nine-page court document indicates the state is no longer pursuing money laundering allegations against the Texas card room and instead is focusing on the alleged illegal gambling aspect.

With 2,400 in the middle on a flop of A♠8♥2♦, Dimitrios Kourous fired out a bet of 900 from under the gun, which failed to shake off Mehran Vahman on the button.

Kourous check-called a bet of 2,200 from Vahman on the 6♥ turn, and the same pattern followed on the 10♦ river, this time in respect of a bet of 3,000 from Vahman.

"I've got nothing" said Vahman, as he tabled 7♠5♠, having missed his turned up and down, and Kourous was relieved to see his K♣K♦ was good.

"I can't bluff you", laughed Vahman, perhaps regretting not going bigger on the river.

Bathe checked to his opponent, who slid out a bet of 10,000. Bathe responded with a prompt check-raise to 25,000.

Sketerskas seemed surprised, and quickly folded, sending a chunky early pot to Bathe.

The 2♠ hit on the turn, and Gronli led out with a bet of 1,000. Aboussaad called to see the Q♦ river, where Gronli fired out a bet of 2,100.

Aboussaad gave it some thought, and called. His J♣10♥ was good versus Kronli's 10♦9♦.
