440,000 Dirhams to the Winner

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

A total of 220 entries generated a prize pool of 1,914,000 Dirhams. The top 27 spots get paid at least 18,000 Dirhams whereas the winner can look forward to a payday of 440,000 Dirhams. The full payout will be posted at the end of Day 1, as the current setup is still based on Euros.

Huet Busts to Farrag

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Gilles Huet
Gilles Huet

Gilles Huet was all in for his last dozen of big blinds with the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Fadhil Farrag looked him up with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. Huet and the rest of the table got excited when the {10-Hearts} showed up as door card, but the next two cards were brutal to say the least: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. Quads for Farrag!

It was all over, making the {J-Spades} turn and the {2-Clubs} river a formality. Mohamed El Berrak was also eliminated.

Herzali's Stack Melted

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Sarah Herzali
Sarah Herzali

Sarah Herzali raised and Jerome Sgorrano three-bet to 6,000 from one seat over. Albert Saad called and then Herzali moved all in for 24,400. Sgorrano showed Herzali one card and Saad wasn't too happy about that, calling the floor.

Ultimately, Sgorrano folded and the {3-Spades} was exposed. Herzali was all in with the {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Saad made the call with {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} ... . The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{A-Hearts} and the straight won the pot for Saad. Sgorrano added a "nice hand my friend" just for the sake of it.

Abida Out of Nowhere

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Abdenbi Abida is on his third bullet and the first two attempts were not crowned with any success. However, now the Frenchman is up to more than a quarter million in chips and the current chip leader!

Gerin and Zaouche Bust

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Rebecca Gerin "has forgotten how to win flips" and exited the tournament area while Evrard Zaouche followed straight after. He had flopped a flush with {2-Spades}{5-Spades} on {A-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}, but Gregory Dupuy held the superior {8-Spades}{7-Spades}. The one outer didn't come, instead the {8-Diamonds} turn and {9-Diamonds} river completed the board.

Douek Shoves at the Wrong Time

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

David Douek three-bet shoved his big blind with the {8-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Yoan Argence looked him up with the {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. The board ran out {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{9-Spades} and that was it for Douek, who didn't seem very happy about the showdown.

A Strong Move

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

With around 30,000 chips in the pot until the {Q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts} turn, Rodrigo Strong announced all in and then folded his hands. The dealer counted 39,000 chips remaining and table neighbor and big stack Gael Callige was still to make up his mind. Callige eventually folded and Strong quickly raked in the pot.

Lakliali's Queens no Good

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

After a raising war before the flop, the stacks went in once the dealer had spread {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Samir Lakliali was at risk with the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. Unfortunately that would be the last hand for the Moroccan, as Joaquin held the {k-Clubs}{K-Spades} two seats over and held up with {2-Clubs} turn and {J-Hearts} river completing the board.
