Ouirini Runs Well

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

It was Toufik Ouirini who busted Paul-Francois Tedeschi earlier this level after betting an ace-high turn for 10,000 and then calling the shove of the Frenchman with {A-}{9-}. Tedeschi had {A-}{10-} and a nine appeared on the river.

Just now, Ouirini busted another player after calling the shove for what looked like 30,000 on a flop {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} with {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}. His opponent had {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and failed to improve on {A-Clubs} turn and {A-Diamonds} river.

Other big stacks are included below.

Pirault Doubles

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

While Najib Bennis lost a flip with pocket fours against an ace over on table two, Francois Pirault was more fortunate. He three-bet jammed for 16 big blinds and Rodrigo Strong isolated to push out Gael Callige.

Pirault: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Strong: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{4-Spades} to keep Pirault in the tournament.

Diaz and Yin Done

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

After the dinner break, Cheng-Wei Yin lost half his stack with pocket nines against pocket sevens, as a seven appeared on the river. He was then pushed all in after a king-high flop and called with {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for top pair. The other player held {A-Spades}{10-Hearts} for middle pair and spiked another ten on the turn to improve to trips.

Guillaume Diaz reentered after dinner for bullet number four and put his hopes on a gutshot without any success.

Oulmekki Done; El Yousfi Back

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

A flush draw didn#t come for Selim Oulmekki and he has been eliminated a few minutes into the new level whereas Said El Yousfi was just spotted with a bet of 12,400 on the {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades} river. The opponent of the Swiss reluctantly called and El Yousfi showed {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for a full house to recover chips.

Kinany Busts to Callige

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Hafid Kinany
Hafid Kinany

Down to his last few chips, it appeared to be around 6,000 chips, Hafid Kinany moved all in after the {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Table neighbor Gael Callige had bet 2,000 and called it off with the {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a straight draw. Kinany held {7-Spades}{6-Clubs} and the {5-Spades} turn improved his opponent to a straight.

A blank {3-Hearts} river changed nothing whatsoever and Kinany hit the rail.

At almost the same time, Leo Margets also busted on a different table.
