Fahd Doesn't Fade

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Mohamed Ali Houssam is back in the action and another regular in the tournaments on Moroccan soil, who simply goes by the name Fahd, just pushed twice to create even more action.

First there was a three-way flop of {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Luigi Macaluso bet 2,400. Kamel Atoui called before Fahd shoved for more than 26,000 and enforced two folds, showing {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for two pair.

Soon after, Macaluso then called the shove of Fahd on the {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} turn with {6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Fahd held {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for the slightly better kicker and the {7-Diamonds} river ensured a split pot.

Diaz Joins, Abida Shoves

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Guillaume Diaz has entered the competition at the start of level four and hovers with approximately starting stack. Twice as much belongs to Abdenbi Abida after having busted Anas Tadini early on. Abida then lost some chips before raising the {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop to 9,000 on the button.

His opponent in the hijack called and then checked to immediately face the shove of Abida on the {2-Clubs} turn. That was enough to shut down all further action and Abida is back up to where he was last spotted with.

Lopes and Rodrigues In

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Carlos Lopes and Anthony Rodrigues have entered the field close to the end of level four and the latter has sweet memories of this casino after finishing second in the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event back in January for a payday of 905,000 MAD.

Santais and Vidal Stacked

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Herve Santais busted Mohamed Ali Houssam and Rakesh Lalwani in the same hand after hitting a straight flush and then the Frenchman opened to 525. On the button, Florian Vidal three-bet to 2,000 and [Removed:215] squeezed to 5,600 out of the small blind. Only Vidal called and they headed to a flop of {J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

Groppi continued for 8,500 and was called before checking the {4-Diamonds} turn. Now Vidal fired a bet worth 9,000 and Groppi called with both players then checking the {8-Clubs} river. Groppi flipped over {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}, but that ended second best to the {K-Clubs}{K-Spades} of Vidal.

The Tadini Show

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

On the river of a board {Q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Joachim Lob bet 15,500 and Anas Tadini moved all in for not much more to get called and flip over {K-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a busted flush draw with bottom pair. The magic river card improved the Moroccan to trips and that scooped a big pot. "He called me!", Tadini announced for the entire room to hear.

Lalwani Wins Some; Still Down

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

With {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, Rakesh Lalwani made two pair on the flop and was paid off to reveal "dead men's hand" in the showdown. In the wild wild west, this may have resulted in being shot down but the Indian scooped the pot and recovered some early losses. Lalwani is still below starting stack though.

Belgium Also Represented

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Cheng-Wei Yin and Jerome Sgorrano, who was part of a four-way deal in the 15,000 MAD High Roller, are in the event on different tables. Sgorrano played only a few hands of the last level and then immediately ordered a massage upon restarting level four to get into the zone.
