Kalidou Sow raised to 550 from early position. Albert Bernardo appeared as if he intended to call, but his action was ruled as a bet to 1,025. Thomas Drew called in the big blind. Sow then four-bet to 3,750. Bernardo called, as did Drew called.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Drew checked and Sow continued for 5,500. Bernardo folded and Drew called.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and both players checked. The river was the {2-Clubs} and both players checked again. Drew turned over {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and took down the pot.

We await the arrival of any of the final three players who will resume their quest for the High Roller title when they resume at around 9.30 p.m. after the conclusion of the Main Event Day 1.

Leonardo raised to 450 under the gun and got two callers: Paul Daniel Kelly in the small blind and Lionel Grobocopatel in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and all three players checked.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Grobocopatel bet 700 with Kelly being the only caller. The river was the {2-Clubs} and Grobocopatel bet 1,400 with Kelly quickly calling.

Grobocopatel showed {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for a full house, fours full of deuces and Kelly mucked.

Mathieu Maroccini Turns Set, Rivers House

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

The button raised to 300 and Mathieu Maroccini three-bet to 750 from the small blind. The big blind then four-bet to 2,225. The button folded and Maroccini called.

The flop was {k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Maroccini checked to his opponent who bet 1,800. Maroccini called and saw the {10-Spades} on the turn. He checked again and his opponent bet 4,100. Again the Frenchman called.

The river was the {k-Diamonds} and it was checked over to Maroccini's opponent for the third time. They threw out two 5,000 chips and announced "Seven." Maroccini quickly called and his opponent winced as they turned over {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} for ace high, and was shown {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a full house - tens full of kings.

Javier Garcirreynaldos Barral vs Achille Voltolina

Achille Voltolina limped from middle position before Javier Garcirreynaldos Barral raised to 500. The big blind called, as did Voltolina. The flop came {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. It checked to Barral, also known as Tsunamy, who bet 1,025. The small blind then raised to 2,625, and both his opponents called.

The turn was the {k-Diamonds}. It checked to Barral again who bet 4,500. This time the small blind elected to fold and Voltolina called.

The river was the {5-Hearts}. Voltolina checked to Barral for a third time who moved all in for around 21,000. With around 15 minutes left of the first level of the day, this was a huge shove, and it got through with Voltolina eventually relinquishing his hand. It remains to be seen whether Tsunamy's early pressure will pay off.

David Haroune vs Nuno Andrade

David Haroune raised to 375 from the cutoff with play four-handed. The button folded. Nuno Andrade called in the small blind, as did the big blind.

The flop was {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. It checked to Haroune who continued for a hefty 1,025. Andrade wasted no time in calling and the big blind folded.

The turn was the {k-Clubs} and Andrade checked to Haroune who bet 1,775 this time. Andrade called.

Both players checked the river which was the {8-Spades}. Andrade showed {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a two pair, but Haroune held {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for a higher two pair, and scooped the pot midway through the first level of the day.
