Mohamed Hossam Eliminated by Lasse Jacobsen

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Mohamed Hossam raised to 6,000 from under the gun. Hassani called from the next position. Lasse Jacobsen called from the small blind, as did Fayez Bourgi in the big blind.

The flop was {q-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts} and it checked to Hossam who continued for 11,000. Hassani called before Jacobsen announced that he was all in. Bourgi folded, Hossam called and Hossani folded.

Jacobsen winced as he turned over {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} but his face softened as his opponent turned over {j-Spades}{10-Spades}.

The turn was the {k-Clubs} and the river the {q-Clubs} giving Jacobsen a full house and elimination Hossam.

"But we're good friends," said Leo Margets, rubbing Khalil Hassan Ali's arm as if to console him as she stacked her chips.

[Removed:432] opened to 2,200 from middle position. Ali called on the button, and Margets called from the small blind.

The flop came {q-}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and it checked to [Removed:433] who continued. Ali then raised and Margets moved all in. [Removed:433] folded and Ali called.

Jerome Zerbib vs Mehdi Senhaji

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

On a flop of {q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} Jerome Zerbib bet 10,000 and Mehdi Senhaji called.

The turn was the {j-Spades} and again Zerbib bet, this time 15,000 and Senhaji called.

The river was the {a-Spades} and this time Zerbib checked. Senhaji bet 25,000 and his opponent went into the tank.

Eventually the clock was called for, and with about 15 seconds left Zerbib mucked {8-Spades}{9-Spades} face up on the table. Senhaji then showed {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and took down the pot.

"I call," said Samy Ramadan, starting a discussion as to what Zerbib should have done. "No!" said Vincent Mansour, "I pass."
