Nine-High for [Removed:432]

[Removed:432] raised to 23,000 from under the gun. Valeryi Chupin defended his big blind.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The turn was the {a-Spades} and Chupin checked to [Removed:433] who bet 30,000. Chupin then raised to 80,000 and his opponent called.

Chupin checked the river, which was the {2-Diamonds} to his opponent who bet 80,000. Chupin folded.

[Removed:433] went to muck his cards, but Jerome Zerbib shouted out from the other end of the table in french: "Ace-Queen!"

"He's found me out!" said [Removed:433], as he turned over {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for nine-high.

Houssine El Otmani - 14th Place (€2,645)

Houssine El Otmani had been all in and doubled up a couple of times already since the redraw to two tables, however it was always for a sub-five big blind stack.

This time he was all in for around that much, 56,000 holding {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} against the {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} of Andrei-Salustin Luncan.

The board ran out {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and El Otmani was eliminated in 14th Place.

Francisco Vargas Doubles Through Tsunamy

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

It folded around to Francisco Vargas in the small blind who moved all in for his remaining 138,000. Tsunamy called in the big blind.

Tsunamy: {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Vargas: {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The flop gave Tsunamy some outs to a gutshot straight draw on {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} but the turn and river bricked {7-Clubs}{k-Clubs} meaning that Vargas doubled up.

Francisco Vargas Doubles Through Benoit Grobocopatel

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Less than ten minutes after Francisco Vargas doubled through Tsunamy, he's doubled through Benoit Grobocopatel.

Vargas held {a-Spades}{k-Spades} and Grobocopatel {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}.

The flop wasn't a good one for the Frencham as it came {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. "Right on the flop," said Grobocopatel, muttering naughty words in French that I wasn't taught at school. The turn was the {2-Hearts} and the river the {5-Diamonds} meaning he was left crippled with just 20,000.

However, he promptly doubled that up with {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} against Vargas' {a-Spades}{2-Clubs} on {k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}. You know what they say - 'A Chip and a Chair'
