It's time for Day 1b of the Marrakech Poker Open Main Event, running at the stunning Es Saadi Resort. The event has a 15,000 MAD buy-in and a generous structure that gives players plenty of chance to build their stacks. Day 1b kicks off at 1 p.m. local time.

"EV" finished Day 1a as the chip leader with 599,000 after steadily building his stack and is the player to beat for anyone looking to bag in today's flight. "EV" is closely tailed by Anas Tadini, a Marrakech regular who bagged in second place with 577,000 chips. The two players are currently way out ahead of their rivals heading into Day 2.
