Govorov Makes Two Pair
Level 25
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Richi open-raised from the cutoff with 7♥7♦, Alain Dery called in the small blind with Q♥J♣, and Ivan Govorov called in the big blind with 6♣2♣.
All three players checked back on the 5♦K♣2♠ flop. The 6♦ turn gave Govorov two pair. Dery checked and Govorov bet 225,000, which only Richi called with his sevens.
The river was the 8♠ and Govorov moved all in. Richi folded and Govorov won the pot.
