Dovorov Flops Set and Takes Chip Lead
Level 25
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Ivan Govorov open-raised from early position with 10♠10♣ and Truquens called in the big blind with 9♥7♣.
The flop came 10♥7♦A♦ and Truquens checked. Govorov bet 100,000 with his set of tens and Truquens called.
The 8♠ turn gave Truquens a straight draw along with his bottom pair. He opted to lead out with a big sizing of 325,000, which Govorov called.
The river was the 2♦, a bit of an action killer that put potential flushes on the board along with straights. Truquens bet 850,000, just under a pot sized bet. Dovorov called and won the hand with his set to take the chip lead.
