Rutter Gets Sneaky

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

In a three-bet pot, Stuart Rutter led out for 2,100 on a {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop and received just one caller. Both players checked the {A-Spades} turn and then the {Q-Diamonds} river.

Rutter grimaced at the second check-back, turning over {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for top two pair, having tried to trap.

Oh 'Eck

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

In a four-way pot where each player, including Jan Sjavik, had put into 3,275 preflop, the action was checked around on the {J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop. On the {3-Hearts} turn it was checked to the button (who had three-bet preflop) and he bet 6,875. Tonny van Eck was the only caller to see the {10-Hearts} on the river.

Van Eck moved all in for a total of 40,525 and his opponent tanked for a minute before making the call with {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, Van Eck was forced to show a missed {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Pot for van Hoof

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

On the feature table, Jorryt van Hoof had R. Zade all in and at risk preflop for his last 6,400 with {A-Clubs} {Q-Spades} versus {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}. The November Niner had the worse hand preflop but improved with the board running out {4-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {2-Diamonds}.

Stack Off to Mackoff

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

After a squeezed pot that went five-way to the {2-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} flop, Aviv Meiri got his stack in with {10-Hearts} {J-Spades} against the {2-Spades} {2-Hearts} of Jonas Mackoff. The High Roller finalist needed running cards to stay alive in the Main Event and the {7-Clubs} on the turn was a start. However, the {3-Diamonds} on the river sent Meiri to the rail and Mackoff is among the early chip leaders.

Lakemeier Busts Lewis

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

There was a raise from the player under the gun and Toby Lewis called one seat over, Jens Lakemeier tossed in the extra chips out of the big blind. On the {Q-} {5-Spades} {3-Spades} flop, Lewis bet 800 and only the German called to see the {10-Diamonds} on the turn. Lakemeier check-raised from 2,200 to 6,500 and Lewis called before going all in for 17,000 when the {J-Spades} on the river completed the board.

Lakemeier check-called with {6-Spades} {2-Spades} for the flush and Lewis' {A-Spades} {A-Clubs} were beaten. Another late entry is Artur Koren one table over.

Ensan Getting Short

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Gerald Karlic has arrived and drawn a heavy table with the likes of Andrew Chen, Pascal Vos and Hossein Ensan. The latter was just involved in a pot to the {3-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {5-Hearts} {2-Hearts} turn and bet 5,500 only for Vos to move all in after one minute of consideration. Ensan snap-folded and has less than half the starting stack left.
