Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Jens Lakemeier
Jens Lakemeier

Jens "Fresh_Oo_D" Lakemeier paid off the set of aces of an opponent and plummeted to as low as 16,000 chips. The remainder of his stack went into the middle of the table with pocket sevens and he could not win the coin flip versus {A-} {K-}.

That one hurt for Boyaciyan

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Per Munusgaard opened from under the gun and Chino Rheem three-bet to 8,000, which was called by one further player as well as David Boyaciyan and Munusgaard. On the {5-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} flop, Munusgaard checked, Rheem bet 12,000 and Boyaciyan called. The other player involved folded and Munusgaar now moved all in for 69,500 to enforce a fold from Rheem.

Boyaciyan gave it a lot of thought, checked his stack again and then made the call with {J-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} for middle pair and the flush draw. Munusgaard held {A-Spades} {K-Spades} and doubled up thanks to the {5-Hearts} on the turn and the {4-Hearts} on the river.

Pan Gets Active

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Michel Draganic raised to 3,200 and Jimmy Pan called before Lauri Varonen three-bet to 10,700, both of his opponents called. On the {2-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} flop all three players checked, Draganic then check-raised the {3-Diamonds} turn from 7,800 to 16,200. Only Pan called and then moved all in after the {6-Diamonds} river.

Draganic had invested another 21,200 and was sent into a world of pain before ultimately tossing his cards into the muck.

One hand later, Pan three-bet an open raise of Raymond Noordhuis to 7,700 and snap-called the all in for 29,800 with {K-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}. Noordhuis had {K-Spades} {10-Spades} and stayed alive after turning a straight on a board of {9-Hearts} {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {J-Spades} {4-Clubs}.

Cold Day for Mizzi

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Sorel Mizzi
Sorel Mizzi

Ole Schemion limped in middle position before Sorel Mizzi raised to 5,200 in the seat next to him. On the other side of Mizzi, the next player to act made it 10,800 to play. It was folded back to Mizzi who made the call to see a {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop.

Mizzi checked and his opponent bet 7,600, Mizzi made the call to the see {2-Clubs} on the turn where he led out for 14,900 and his opponent called to see the {9-Diamonds} on the river.

Mizzi moved all in for his last 35,000 and his opponent quickly called. The Canadian showed {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades} for the flopped straight but he got shown {J-Clubs}{J-Spades} - a full house on the river for his assassin.

Sorel MizziPoker can be cruel-but when I ask"will I be affected by this in a month?" the answer is no and I choose to be happy now instead of waiting.

Triple Seat Open

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Paul Valkenburg
Paul Valkenburg

Within the spur of the last five minutes, Paul Valkenburg, Robbie Bakker and Jasper Wetemans hit the rail. Wetemans three-bet shoved for 32,000 after a raise of the player in the cutoff and Niels van Alphen reshoved behind him with {A-} {J-}. Wetemans had pocket nines and the window card was an ace.

Robbie Bakker raised from the button with a stack of 45,000 and Govert Metaal in the big blind was rather short. Andrew Chen was one seat over in the small blind and moved all in with the by far superior stack. Bakker called all in with {A-} {10-} because he didn't give Chen a strong hand due to the all in. The Canadian had {K-} {Q-} and hit a king on the turn.

Last but not least, Paul Valkenburg was involved in a preflop battle with Noah Boeken and was all in for what looked like 60,000 in chips still with pocket tens. Boeken called with {Q-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} and the {3-Hearts} {A-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {A-Clubs} {5-Spades} board ran out safely for the defending champion. "You don't have to go broke there. I'll take it," Boeken said after the hand.

Mack-Off

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Chino Rheem opened to 3,500 from early position and Jonas Mackoff shoved for 25,000 from the blinds. A quick call followed.

Rheem: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Mackoff: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The board came {5-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Rheem began to rebuild his stack after losing that huge pot with flush versus flush.

Five-Bet Jam by de Melo

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

In a battle button versus big blind, Fatima Moreira de Melo faced a four-bet of Nico Kuan for 21,000 and five-bet jammed for 73,600 to enforce a fold from her countryman. Kuan dropped some chips but is still ahead of the former hockey player and Team PokerStars Pro.

Salter Gets his Revenge

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Louis Salter three-bet all in for 27,300 in chips after a raise of Jonas Mackoff and the very same player that had the aces against the Brit decided to call with {6-} {7-} and Salter turned over {9-Clubs} {9-Spades} once Mackoff folded. The board ran out {7-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {A-Clubs} and Salter doubled up.
