Berglin Doubles

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

From early position, Stefan Fabian opened for 20,000. Action folded to Charlie Carrel in the cutoff and he three-bet to 56,000. Over in the small blind, Dennis Berglin went deep into the tank.

Like vultures, as Anton Wigg described them jokingly, players from the other table came over to see what was going on. With a pay jump ahead, they were curious as to what short stack Berglin wwas going to do.

After some thinking about it, Berglin called the clock on himself. With 10 seconds left to act, he shoved all in for 48,000. The big blind and Fabian folded, Carrel got some chips back.

Dennis Berglin: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}
Charlie Carrel: {8-Spades}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Berglin doubled up with his turned flush.

Abdelhakim Zoufri
Abdelhakim Zoufri

Under the gun Abdelhakim Zoufri opened to 23,000. Action folded around to Charlie Carrel in the big blind and he called.

Both of them checked on {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{K-Spades} and the {2-Clubs} hit the turn. Carrel bet 45,000 and Zoufri called.

The {J-Spades} completed the board and Carrel shoved. Zoufri instantly called for 196,000 total and showed {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Carrel had a missed flush draw with {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and parted ways with some chips again.

Anton Wigg Runs Kings Into Aces and Busts

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Anton Wigg
Anton Wigg

First to act, Michiel Brummelhuis opened for 22,000 and his neighbor Aton Wigg called. This was followed by some more calls as Abdelhakim Zoufri (cutoff) and Jonathan Rozema (small blind) slid forward 23,000 as well.

Over in the big blind, Stefan Fabian had something else in mind and raised to 127,000. Initial raiser Brummelhuis instantly folded and action was on Wigg. He announced all in for 542,000 and Zoufri and Rozema quickly folded. Fabian called instantly.

Stefan Fabian: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}
Anton Wigg: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

Wigg got up and, with a frustrated look on his face, waited for the board to come. The community cards wouldn't help him; {4-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}.

Fabian and Wigg shook hands before the latter made his way to the exit. Wigg picks up €11,419, the remaining 23 players are guaranteed €13,675 from here on out.
