Karen Muir Eliminated

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Karen Muir just walked to the rail and told us she had just busted. Muir, who won the €550 Bounty here this Master Classics of Poker, opened with pocket tens and found at least one caller. One the low flop, she got it all in and her opponent turned out to have kings and wasn't folding. No help on the turn or river and Muir exited.

Krijn Takes a Hit

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

As we arrived, the board was already out in a hand involving Tonny Krijn and one opponent. Krijn had 37,500 in front of him on {4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} while his foe had 72,000 out front, telling us it was a 3-bet and not a check-raise.

Krijn tanked long and hard, thinking about his options for a good 5 minutes. Eventually, the clock was called and Krijn folded with just 2 seconds left to act.

Van Boxtel Versus Roberts

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

The 2 early chip leaders just played a hand against each other. They aren't leading anymore, though.

Van Boxtel opened from late position for 2,100 and the small blind and Doug Roberts in the big blind called. The blinds checked on {3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Van Boxtel bet what appeared to be 1,700. The small blind folded, Roberts called.

Both checked the {5-Clubs} on the turn before the {2-Clubs} completed the board. Roberts bet 3,500 and Van Boxtel called.

Roberts showed {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Van Boxtel mucked.

Pascal Vos Eliminated

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Pascal Vos hit the rail in one of the first hands back from break. He told us that the button opened and he shoved for 20 big blinds from the big blind. The button called with {A-}{K-} while Vos had {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. No improvement on the flop, turn, or river, and Vos departed.

Wesselink Knocks Out Opponents in Back-to-Back Hands

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante
Wim Anne Wesselink
Wim Anne Wesselink

On a board of {J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}, we saw Wim Anne Wesselink call someone's all in for 10,000. A third player folded. Wesselink was well behind with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} as his opponent showed {7-Clubs}{8-Spades}. The river {Q-Clubs}, though, helped Wesselink collect another €500 bounty, €250 ending up in his pocket.

The next hand, Wesselink opened the hijack for 1,300. Dieter Victor in the cutoff called, and so did the big blind. The big blind checked on {2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Wesselink bet 2,200. Both of his opponents called.

As the {J-Hearts} hit the turn, the big blind checked again. Wesselink bet 4,100 and his neighbor shoved for 12,425. The big blind folded, Wesselink called.

Dieter Victor: {9-Spades}{10-Spades}
Wim Anne Wesselink: {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The river {J-Hearts} improved Wesselink to trips and he took down Victor's €1,340 bounty. Wesselink is worth €2,310 himself now.
