Sebastiaan de Jonge Eliminated

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Sebastiaan de Jonge
Sebastiaan de Jonge

Sebastiaan de Jonge was severely shortstacked after check-calling a sizable bet on {3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{3-Spades}, only to lose to {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

With just 102,000 left, he shoved from under the gun plus one after Henri Piironen had opened under the gun to 25,000. Piironen called with {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} and had De Jonge in a world of pain as the latter had {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}.

The board came {4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and that was it for De Jonge; the Day 1A chipleader down and out.

Double Up for Mulder

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action folded to Algarra Vidana on the button and he opened for 25,000. Small blind Teun Mulder shoved for 154,000 and the big blind folded right away. Vidana called just as quick.

Algarra Vidana: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Teun Mulder: {7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Mulder was in trouble but would find a double making two pair on the turn: {9-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

Majid Bozakraft Eliminated

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action folded to Majid Bozakraft in the small blind and he pushed all in for just under 180,000. Big blind Danilo Velasevic woke up with {A-Hearts}{A-Spades} and made the easy call. Bozakraft showed {A-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and just like that, Bozakraft's tournament was over.

Velasevic and Tang Tangle

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Daniel Tang
Daniel Tang

Daniel Tang opened under the gun for 27,000 and saw the action fold to Danilo Velasevic in the small blind. Velasevic three-bet to 106,000 and the big blind folded. Tang opted to call.

The flop came {K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and both Velasevic and Tang checked. Both checked as well on the {7-Clubs} turn before the {2-Clubs} completed the board. Velasevic bet out 137,000 and Tang didn't waste much time raising to 378,000. Velasevic used about two minutes to think before he called.

Tang showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} for nothing but queen-high with the nut flush blocker. Velasevic tabled {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and took down the pot.

James King Eliminated

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

James King opened the cutoff and Teun Mulder defended his big blind. Both players checked on {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and so the {2-Clubs} on the turn was seen for free. Mulder lead out for 82,000 and King called in position.

The {4-Clubs} completed the board and would turn out to be anything but a blank. Mulder shoved for 384,000, a bit more than King had behind. Eventually, King called.

Mulder showed {3-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a rivered straight, King mucked {A-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for two pair.

Down to 16 players, a complete redraw is in process.
