Break

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A 15-minute break for the players. Here are some assorted chip counts:

Steve O'Dwyer Eliminated

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Max Lehmanski limped in from under the gun plus one and the action folded to Steve O'Dwyer in the big blind. O'Dwyer checked and the two got a board of {9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{K-Clubs}.

O 'Dwyer checked and saw Lehmanski bet 7,000. O'Dwyer check-raised to 30,000 and Lehmanski called.

They both checked the {6-Spades} on the turn before the {3-Hearts} completed the board. O'Dwyer bet around 70,000 with a single 1,000-chip behind. Lehmanski plummeted five 25,000-chips in the middle and O'Dwyer somewhat reluctantly called with his {K-Spades}{3-Spades}. Lehmanski tabled {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and O'Dwyer exited.

Michiel Brummelhuis Eliminated

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Michiel Brummelhuis
Michiel Brummelhuis

Michiel Brummelhuis didn't really get anything going today, and slowly but steadily saw his stack decline. Down to about 100,000, he moved all in holding {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} from the hijack.

Totti Arosuo called from the big blind holding {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. While it wasn't too unfair a match up, things never got scary for Arosuo. The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Brummelhuis said his goodbyes.

Hakim Zoufri Eliminated

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Hakim Zoufri, another past winner of this event, has just been eliminated as well. He ended up all in before the flop holding {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} to Joey Vittali's {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}. Zoufri, who had 82,500 when he started the hand, lost on a board of {6-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}.

Noah Boeken Eliminated

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Dutch Poker Hall of Famer Noah Boeken, a past champion of this event, has been eliminated. According to people on the rail, he got it in with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} against Arto Loikkanen {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. Unfortunately for Boeken, the flop brought an ace to diminish his outlook. No help on the flop or turn and Boeken said his goodbyes.

Lehmanski Takes a Small Hit; Doubles Vidana

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

We missed the pre-flop action and only got there when the cards were already open. Algarra Vidana (under the gun) was trailing with {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} for his remaining 90,000 as Max Lehmanski (button) had {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}.

The board, though, favored Vidana: {2-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{J-Spades}. Double up for Vidana, a small hit for Lehmanski.

Stefan Wolzak Eliminated

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Stefan Wolzak was seen standing at the payout desk, and was kind enough to tell us what had happened.

On the feature table, [Removed:172] raised to 11,000. Alberto Stegeman called before Wolzak squeezed to 40,000. Kramer came over the top for 85,000 and Stegeman folded. Wolzak shoved with kings for 189,000 but was met with a swift call as Kramer had aces.

No help on the flop, turn, or river and that was it for Wolzak, one of the more active players in the tournament.

Kramer, who had doubled through Jasper Meijer van Putten shortly before, is now the chip leader with 1.1 million in chips.

Sergio Castelluccio
Sergio Castelluccio

Sergio Castelluccio pushed under the gun all in for his last 78,000. The action folded around to James King in the big blind and he called after thinking about it for a bit.

Sergio Castelluccio: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
James King: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Castelluccio exited the tournament area.
