Gabriel Akiki Eliminated in 8th Place ($65,000)

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Nuri Hadioglu picked up {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} in early position and opened the pot for 600,000 before Yiannis Liperis reraised to 1,500,000 in the hijack with {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. From the button, Gabriel Akiki used a time bank before shoving all in for 5,810,000 with {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

Hadioglu reshoved for 9,820,000 and Liperis quickly got out of the way. The {k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop gave Hadioglu top set and Akiki was already drawing dead by the time the {3-Spades} fell on the turn.

The meaningless river was the {j-Spades} and Akiki made his exit in eighth place.
