Nee Bubbles Day 1c Of MPP Open

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

All of the chips went into the middle preflop with Lavrentiy Nee at risk for 165,000 in the big blind against Dmitry Levin in middle position.

Lavrentiy Nee: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Dmitry Levin: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Levin was well behind and the runout of {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{a-Spades} provided no assistance and is the bubble boy for Day 1c.

In the Money

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

All players in Day 1c are now in the money, the bust out post will available shortly, followed by a full recap.

Ten Minute Break

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The floor has paused the clock for a ten minute break. There are 60 players remaining which means only one elimination is required to burst the bubble. Play will thus be hand-for-hand.

Georgiou Falls Short Of The Money

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

All the chips went into the middle preflop with Michael Georgiou on the button at risk for 146,000. Luca Stevanato in the big blind covered Georgiou.

Michael Georgiou: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Luca Stevanato: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

A cooler right on the bubble for Georgiou as he ran into Stevanato's kings. The board of {j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs} did not help Georgiou and fell two places short of the money, while the Italian is one of the biggest stacks in the room.

Comier Receives A Gift

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With 124,000 in the middle on a flop of {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, the under-the-gun player moved all in for 206,000.

Jeff Cormier in the cutoff picked up his cards and said "Well, I guess I can't fold this one!" Cormier made the call.

Jeff Cormier: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Under-The-Gun: {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}

Cormier flopped trips and there was no help for their opponent as the {7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} completed the board and the Canadian now possesses double the average stack.
