Day 1 has concluded from Event #1: $1,100 MPP Open at the Luxon Pay Mediterranean Poker Party. 900 players took to the tables across four Day 1 flights, with 125 remaining. When play begins at 12:00 p.m. local time blinds will be 6,000 / 12,000 with a 12,000 big blind ante, Level 19.
Each starting day drew the following entries:- 1a: 61 with 9 making the money; 1b: 256 with 38 making the money; 1c: 391 with 59 making the money and 1d: 181 with 19 making the money.
The chip leader returning for Day 2 is French player Dominique Gabriel who brings a cool 1,030,000 to Day 2. As player remaining has now made the money and have earned a minimum cash, payouts will be available for players and viewers in the morning. The $1,000,000 guarantee wasn't broken though, so there is a 10% overlay for those who made the money.

The opening tournament drew players from across the globe to play the event, just some names returning for Day 2 are Chino Rheem (610,000), Damir Zhugralin (324,000) and Aylar Lie (122,000).
Zhugralin, who made played Day 1a and Day 1b finally made it through to Day 2, having bubbled the 1b flight after getting it in on the bubble and running into pocket Jacks.
Twin brothers Ziad Gharios (331,000) and Jad Gharios (372,000) of Lebanon both made the money. They mentioned to PokerNews they plan on being the first identical twins to final table a major tournament together. It would be some feat to get that done.
