Ekgardt Gets One Over Ossip

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Dieter Ekgardt opened for 800 from under the gun and was called by Kevin Ossip on the button and the big blind.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Ekgardt continued for 1,200. Ossip called while the big blind got out of the way.

The turn brought the {9-Spades} and this time Ekgardt slowed down and tapped the table. Ossip did the same.

On the {4-Clubs} river, Ekgardt put out a bet of around 2,000 and Ossip instantly mucked and the dealer pushed the pot Ekgardt's way.

Erceylan Hits Trip Nines, Now Over 40,000

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Memet Ali Erceylan called from middle position and Ali Mehrabian put out a bet of 1,200 from the hijack. The cutoff, small blind, and Erceylan all called.

The four-way flop came {7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Erceylan lead out for 800. Mehrabian and the small blind made the call.

On the {j-Spades} turn, Erceylan continued for 3,000. Both of his opponents made the call.

The {2-Diamonds} completed the board and Erceylan put out a third barrel, this time for 7,000, leaving just 10,000 behind. Mehrabian thought for a few seconds before flicking in the chips.

Erceylan tabled {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for trip nines and took down the pot.

Fal Rivers Straight, Stuns Trip Nines

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

The hijack called and Nikolay Fal also called from the cutoff. The button made it 800 and was called by the small blind, big blind, the hijack, and by Fal.

It went five ways to the flop, which came {4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts}. The big blind lead out for 1,500 and was called by just Fal and the button.

The turn brought the {9-Clubs} and action checked around.

On the {7-Spades} river, the big blind made it 2,200 but Fal concluded that it wasn't enough and raised to 10,000, leaving just 1,700 behind. After the button folded, the big blind went into the tank for about a minute before making the call.

Fal turned over {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for the rivered straight and the big blind slammed his {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} down on the table and put his head in his hands, shocked that his trip nines were no good.

With the win, Fal went back to a hair above starting stack.

Montealegre Rivers Pair of Aces, Back to Starting Stack

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

With around 4,000 in the middle, the flop came {8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Ivonne Montealegre continued for 3,000. The big blind called.

The {4-Spades} arrived on the turn and both players tapped the table.

The river brought the {a-Spades} and Montealegre put out a bet of 2,000. The big blind made the call but was visibly upset when Montealegre produced {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for a rivered pair of aces, which took her to a little above starting stack.

Tannazi Nearly Triple Starting Stack in Level 1

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 0 ante

Celine Zimmermann opened from under the gun to 600 and was called by the hijack, cutoff, button, Alireza Tannazi in the small blind, and the big blind.

The six-way flop came {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} and Tannazi lead out for 3,000. The big blind and Zimmerman both called. Action folded to the cutoff who went all in for 19,100. The button, having been spooked by Tannazi accidentally going all in out of turn, folded his cards. The big blind and Zimmermann also folded.

Cutoff: {j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Alireza Tannazi: {9-Spades}{6-Spades}

Tannazi had top pair and the flush draw while the cutoff had middle pair and needed help.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and the cutoff needed a non-spade jack or a four to survive.

The {k-Spades} completed the board, which gave Tannazi a flush and eliminated his opponent.

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 0 ante

Action was caught with 5,100 in the middle with the board reading {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Andrey Subbotin had fired a bet of 2,500 from the hijack. The cutoff folded but the big blind made the call.

The river brought the {10-Diamonds} and Subbotin put out a bet of 5,900. The big blind would think about his decision for about 45 seconds before making the call.

Subbotin immediately tabled {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, having turned trip sixes, and the pot was pushed his way.

Aristotelous Picks Off Opponent with Pair of Fives

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 0 ante

In early five-handed play, the hijack opened to 300. Aleksa Jovanovic called from the small blind and Georgios Aristotelous defended his big blind.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and the hijack continued for 300. Jovanovic folded and Aristotelous called.

The turn brought the {2-Hearts} and the hijack put out a bet of 400. Aristotelous called.

The {5-Hearts} completed the board and the hijack put out a 1,000 chip. Aristotelous considered his options for about 15 seconds before making the call.

The hijack could only produce {q-Spades}{10-Spades} for queen-high and Aristotelous tabled {5-Spades}{4-Clubs} for a pair of fives and the win.
