The MPP Warm Up Final Table Is Set To Get Underway

Merit Royal Diamond Hotel & Casino
Merit Royal Diamond Hotel & Casino

The MPP Warm Up at theLuxon Pay Mediterranean Poker Party has come to its apex with nine players vying for the trophy and the top prize of $310,000, while the other 1,038 entrants enjoy the facilities at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel and Casino in North Cyprus.

Sergey Baranski of Belarus comes into the final day as the chip leader with 9,125,000. Whilst their poker resume is not as illustrious as the majority of his tablemates, Baranski's aggressive style of poker could lead them to good stead to score their first ever six-figure cash.

The final table is littered with some of the best talents Russia has to offer. Dmitry Yurasov is a two-time WSOP Bracelet winner amassing over $3,000,000 in live earnings, Dmitry Vitkind is no stranger to a feature table with an appearance at an EPT and a WPT final table.

Artur Martirosian was the chip leader for the vast majority of Day 2 and peaked at 11,000,000. They arrive at the final table with 6,700,000 in fourth place but they will hope to capture another trophy as it is the anniversary of their biggest win when they won the Super High Roller Bowl for $1,400,000.

Among the least experienced players for recorded live cashes are Aleksandr Pak and Aleksandr Kinzhalov who both have lifetime earnings in the five figures. A win today against this highly decorated field will put them on the poker map.

Serbian Milos Skrbic is one of a handful of players to reach the final table of a WSOP and WSOP Europe Main Event. A win today would see them just short of the $3,000,000 mark of lifetime earnings.

Play will resume on the feature table at midday with 18 minutes left on the clock with the blind level at 125,000/250,000 and a big blind ante of 250,000. The final table will be broadcast on a live stream which is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. local time and PokerNews live reports will coincide with the stream.

On the next hand Karmatckii moved all in from the small blind with {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} to put Dmitry Vitkind in the big blind at risk for 5,000,000. Vitkind looked down to see {8-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and opted to fold.

Karmatckii is moving further ahead of the field and using their big stack to dwindle their opponent's stacks

They saw a flop of {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Martirosian checked. Karmatckii made it 425,000. Martirosian called with his gutter.

The turn {4-Spades} fell and Martirosian checked once again. Karmatckii was relentless with his aggression, this time he made it 1,800,000 and forced the fold from his fellow Russian, increasing his lead over the table.
