Tamasian Takes Down 30 Big Blind Pot

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

On the flop and turn, the pot had already swelled to about 12,000 when Nikolai Nasenkov, seated in the small blind, initiated the action with a 7,000 bet. Garik Tamasian responded with a raise to 17,000 chips, prompting a fold from another player, and Nasenkov opted to call.

As the river card, the 8, was revealed, Nasenkov checked, and Tamasian, feeling uncertain about his hand, chose to check back.

Nasenkov then revealed his hand, Q6, showing a pair of sixes along with a flush draw. However, Tamasian had him beat with a pair of tens, specifically K10, and scooped the roughly 46,000 pot.
