2025 Mediterranean Poker Party
Players are now on a 25-minute break of the day.
After a lot of action preflop Milen Nikolov Bakardjiev got all of his 2,000,000 chips into the middle with Konstantin Voronin being the player trying to claim his bounty.
Milen Nikolov Bakardjiev: K♠K♣
Konstantin Voronin: A♣A♦
It was a brutal cooler for Bakarjiev, who needed to find a king to crack the pocket aces of Voronin. However, the flop of 2♥6♣A♥ gave Voronin top set, leaving Bakardjiev needing to hit quads to survive. The rest of the board came 2♠3♥, and Bakardjiev was out of the tournament.
The start of the day chip leader Giorgiy Skhulukhiya made it 200,000 to go from the hijack, and Italo Martin Palao Modena jammed for around 1,700,000 from the button. After the blinds folded, Skhulukhiya thought it over for a while before slamming in the call to put Modena at risk.
Italo Martin Palao Modena: K♦J♣
Giorgiy Skhulukhiya: A♥7♥
Skhulukhiya made a great call with ace-high and was ahead of Modena's king-high. The board came 4♣4♦2♠Q♥Q♦, improving neither player, and Skhulukhiya claimed another bounty.

From early position, Bassel Moussa raised to 160,000 and was only called by Mikhail Zavoloka out of the big blind.
Zavoloka knuckled the table on the Q♦10♠4♥ flop and Moussa fired a continuation-bet of 80,000. Zavoloka didn't take long to make the call.
The J♠ turn prompted Zavoloka to check again. Moussa slid out a second barrel of 285,000, forcing a swift fold from Zavoloka.
Can Miral jammed his last 770,000 into the pot from middle position and found a caller in Evgueni Tsipis out of the small blind.
Can Miral: A♦J♦
Evgueni Tsipis: Q♠J♠
Miral had Tsipis dominated with ace-jack and managed to stay ahead on the 8♦K♥K♠8♠10♦ runout, despite Tsipis picking up a flush draw on the turn. Miral doubled, and Tsipis was left with around 500,000.
Level: 19
Blinds: 40,000/80,000
Ante: 80,000
Nariman Yaghmai opened the action with a raise to 120,000 from under the gun with only Roman Timergazin defending from the big blind.
On the A♥9♣6♦ flop, Timergazin check-called a bet of 80,000 from Yaghmai.
The turn came the Q♠ and this time, Timergazin check-folded to Yaghmai's bet of 275,000.
Konstantin Voronin made it 120,000 to go from the cutoff and Ramazan Akyel shoved for 380,000 from the small blind. After a long tank, OIun Cenk moved all in over the top for 1,200,000 from the big blind. Voronin folded what he said was ace-jack, and Akyel and Cenk flipped up their cards.
Ramazan Akyel: A♦10♠
Ogun Cenk: K♣Q♣
Akyel found himself in a great spot to double-up, if he could avoid an unfortunate runout.
The flop came down 10♦9♦5♦ to give Akyel top pair and a flush draw. The 8♦ turn left Cenk drawing dead, and the irrelevant A♥ landed on the river to give Akyel the much-needed double.
