Konstantin Voronin made the minimum raise to 2,400,000 under the gun. Alexandru Lupuleac was on the button and used one of his time banks before three-betting to 5,200,000.

Voronin quickly called once the action had folded back to him, after which he checked the 10♣K♦J♣ flop to Lupuleac.

Lupuleac continued for 2,800,000, but Voronin found a raise to 6,000,000. Lupuleac thought it over for a while, eventually deciding to put his tournament life at risk with an all-in reraise to 14,800,000.

Voronin snap-called and revealed some bad news for Lupuleac.

Al Mujaibel check-called Bryksin bet of 20,000,000, after which Bryksin put in a hefty 50,000,000 on the 7♥ turn. Al Mujaibel was not going anywhere yet as he made another check-call, and the 3♦ river completed the board.

Al Mujaibel then quickly led all in for 61,500,000. Bryksin took little time to make the call, seeing Al Mujaibel table Q♣4♣ for a pair of fours.

Bryksin played A♥2♠ for two pair, winning the hand. The stacks of both players were carefully counted, after which it was determined that Bryksin had the covering stack, leading to an eruption from the Russian player.

Al Mujaibel took his defeat gracefully and shook hands with Bryksin before departing the stage to pick up his runner-up cash of $250,500, only his second-ever recorded tournament result.
