Gavish's Queens Hold...Just
Level 2
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Daniel Gavish had the perfect spot to triple up and managed to take it, albeit in unorthodox fashion.
Michael Sklenicka, Zsolt Szalai, and Gavish all had their stacks in the middle preflop, with the latter being the at-risk player with around 130,000.
Daniel Gavish: Q♥Q♠
Michael Sklenicka: A♦K♠
Zsolt Szalai: A♠K♥
Gavish just needed to fade four outs on the runout but couldn't do it as the 6♦K♦6♥ flop gave both of his opponents top pair. However, things all changed when the Q♣ hit the turn as Gavish regained his advantage with a full house.
Sklenicka and Szalai both had one out as only the case king would see them scoop the pot, but the 7♥ river wasn't what they needed, and Gavish tripled up!
