Naydenov Sent Home Via the River
It was a short day at the office for Simeon Naydenov as a brutal river sent him packing early on.
Vadzim Godzdanker opened to 80,000 and Naydenov shoved for around 500,000 behind. When it got back to Godzdanker, he quickly called.

Naydenov took a huge leap toward survival and making the money when the flop came 2♣K♦4♣, pairing his king. A 3♥ on the turn added an unnecessary wheel draw, but it was just a ten that he needed to avoid on the river.
Godzdanker was already counting out the chips to send over to his opponent, but instead was treated to a delightful river of the 10♣, improving him to a set! Naydenov halted in his tracks and stared at the board for a few seconds to let that reality sink in, then stood up and headed to the exit.
