Gonza's Queens Good at Showdown
Level 23
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Pablo Beltran made it 400,000 to go from middle position and Alexandru Lupuleac three-bet to 1,200,000 on the button. Alvaro Gonza then cold-called from the big blind, and Beltran decided to fold.
The 2♣9♠J♦ flop went check-check to the 8♥ turn, where Gonza fired 1,300,000. Lupuleac called.
When the 7♣ hit the river, both decided to check it down and Gonza flipped Q♣Q♥ for a pair of queens to take the pot.
