Isaia Gets Big Bluff Through
Level 26
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Alessio Isaia raised to 800,000 in early position with A♥7♥. Alvaro Gonza decided to flat his A♠J♥ in the next seat, and the two went to a flop of Q♥J♦4♣.
Isaia continued for 800,000, which Gonza quickly called. The 5♥ fell on the turn and saw Isaia size up to 2,600,000. Gonza took another look at his cards before calling, seeing the 9♦ hit the river.
Isaia tossed in a time bank before deciding to shove all in for 11,000,000. Gonza asked for a count but ultimately let go of the better hand, forfeiting the pot to Gonza.
