After just losing a the bulk of his stack, Marsel Khalaf had his short stack in the middle with a few other players in the hand. On the Q♦9♦A♦ flop, Walid Bou Habib bet got the others to fold, leaving him heads up with Khalaf.

Habib had flopped bottom set but had to dodge the flush and straight draw of Khalaf, who was looking for a way back into the tournament. However, running fives gave Habib a full house on the 5♣5♠ runout, which meant Khalaf was sent to the payout desk.

Kirill Shcherbakov raised to 100,000 in the cutoff. Ivan Bryksin made it 325,000 to go on the button, which Orthodoxos Orthodoxou called in the small blind.
Shcherbakov got out of the way before Orthodoxou check-called Bryksin's bet of 250,000 on the 3♠9♠5♦ flop. The 10♠ turn then checked to the 4♣ river, where Orthodoxou bet 225,000.
Bryksin made a quick call and won the pot when his 8♠8♣ trumped the A♣K♥ of Orthodoxou
Marsel Khalaf opened from the cutoff and Lachezar Petkov shoved from the small blind for 850,000. Once the action was back on Khalaf, he burned through a few time banks before he made the call with a slightly covering stack.

Khalaf was in the lead with his tens and added a gutshot on the 8♣Q♥J♣ flop. The J♠ on the turn did give Petkov a few more outs as any jack would counterfeit the tens of Khalaf, who still held a big lead.
It wasn't a jack that hit the river, instead the A♣ peeled off, giving Petkov a pair of aces and leaving Khalaf with less than two big blinds to play with.
Jakub Michalak moved his last 130,000 in from under the gun and David Vinayagamoorthy three-bet from the button to 210,000. Vitali Rakets was in the small blind and after some consideration, shoved for around 250,000, and when it got back to Vinayagamoorthy, he called.

Michalak added a flush draw when the 7♠ hit the turn, and paired his four on the 4♥ river to earn himself a triple-up. Vinayagamoorthy took the side pot, which meant Rakets was silenced and sent to the rail.
Traian Stanciu opened to 100,000 before Leanid Bachkou tossed in his remaining 300,000. It folded back to Stanciu, who asked for a count and made the call.
