Petrushevskii Wins Huge Pot from Zhang
Sergei Petrushevskii raised to 1,200,000 from the button and Congya Zhang called in the big blind. The flop came 5♦5♥3♥ and Zhang checked. Petrushevskii bet 800,000 before Zhang check-raised to 2,400,000. Petrushevskii called the bet.
On the J♥ turn, Zhang used a time bank card before placing out a bet of 3,200,000, which Petrushevskii called.
The river came the 7♣ and Zhang pushed out a stack of black 500,000 value chips. Petrushevskii called for 7,600,000. Zhang showed 6♥5♠ for trip fives.
"Yes!" shouted Yilu Yuan in support of Zhang.
"Sorry, not yes!" said Petrushevskii as he showed A♣5♣ for trip fives with an ace kicker. He won the pot and near-on doubled his stack.
"You're so happy? You're a team? Husband and wife? Brother and sister?" asked Petrushevskii.
"Friends," replied Yuan.
