Premiums In The Blinds
Level 15
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Olga Iermolcheva opened from the button to 8,000, but Tzur Levy in the small blind three-bet to 24,000. Sarkis Akopyan in the big blind called, and Iermolcheva decided to fold.
On the flop 10♣6♠9♦, Levy checked, then raised all in after Akopyan bet 20,000. With approximately 100,000 chips and the smallest stack, Akopyan called.
Sarkis Akopyan: K♥K♦
Tzur Levy: A♦A♠
What a confrontation in the blinds between the two players. The 10♥ came on the turn and the A♣ on the river, and Akopyan was eliminated from the tournament.
