One Elimination And One Double Up
Level 22
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
At table 10, there was an "all in and call" situation for the first time involving Orthodoxos Orthodoxou (at risk) and Razvan Sabau.
Orthodoxos Orthodoxou: A♠K♠
Razvan Sabau: Q♠J♣
On the board 9♦2♠Q♦J♥2♥, Sabau hit two pairs, and Orthodoxou was eliminated.
Simultaneously, Randy Hofmanner went all in for 880,000 chips on Q♦2♣8♦4♠, with more than 300,000 chips already in the pot. He was called by Oshri Lahmani.
Randy Hofmanner: Q♥Q♣
Oshri Lahmani: Q♠8♥
Hofmanner hit a set on the flop, while Lahmani had only two pairs. So after the river 4♠, Hofmanner doubled up and left Lahmani with only 85,000 chips.
