Jucys Goes Runner-Runner to Crack Aces

Level 6 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Paulius Jucys
Paulius Jucys

Andress Merheb had a raise to 10,000 in front of him in the cutoff as action folded to Paulius Jucys in the big blind. He tanked for a moment before moving all in for 41,500, and Merheb snap-called.

Paulus Jucys: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Andress Merheb: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Jucys had run into the ultimate cooler and was at risk of elimination as the flop came {10-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. The {j-Clubs} turn gave him some hope with a straight draw, and the {9-Hearts} on the river improved him to a straight as he hit the miracle to stay alive.

Abakirov Shoves Short Stack, Finds Three Callers

Level 5 : Blinds 700/1,500, 1,500 ante

A player under the gun raised to 3,500 before Kubanychbek Abakirov moved all in for his last 5,500. Roman Kolotiuk called in the cutoff before action folded to Arthur Kim in the small blind.

Kim asked if he could raise over the top of Abakirov's all in, and the floor had to be called to the table. He eventually just called, as did the original raiser.

All three players in the side pot checked the {j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop before Kolotiuk bet 7,000 on the {2-Clubs} turn. The other two players folded as Kolotiuk showed {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a pair of deuces. Abakirov turned over {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and was already out of his seat before the dealer turned over a {10-Hearts} on the river.

Stanislav Prikhodko

Stanislav Prikhodko three-bet to 11,000 from the small blind before Dawid Smolka, under the gun, reraised to 25,000. Prikhodko called as they saw a flop of {3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

Smolka continued for 17,000 and Prikhodko called. Both players checked the {9-Diamonds} turn.

The river came the {10-Hearts} and Prikhodko checked over to Smolka, who announced he was all in. Prikhodko snap-called for 95,000 with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a turned set as Smolka flashed {k-}{k-} before mucking.

"Lucky turn," a tablemate told Prikhodko after the hand.

"Absolutely," he replied.

Dzmitry Vazhnik, from under the gun, bet 15,000 on a board of {6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

"All in," big blind Asaf Kibel said, and Vazhnik snap-called for his last 65,000. Kibel showed {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for two pair, while Vazhnik had {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and needed help.

The dealer turned over the {2-Hearts} and went to muck Vazhnik's hand. "He wins," Kibel said, pointing out that Vazhnik had made a higher two pair.

"I knew he had ace-king," Kibel continued after paying off Vazhnik.

Gabi Livshitz
Gabi Livshitz

Picking up the action on a board of {4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Spades} and around 55,000 in the pot, Gabi Livshitz threw out four white 25,000 chips, enough to put his opponent on the button all in.

The button, with around 90,000 remaining in his stack, tanked for several minutes before the clock was called. As the countdown reached zero, he peaked back at his cards one last time before mucking.

"Garbage," tablemate Uri Reichenstein joked after the hand.

According to the table, both players checked the flop and turn before Livshitz open-shoved the river.

Chilaud Snaps Off Dalkilic

Level 5 : Blinds 700/1,500, 1,500 ante

Maxime Chilaud three-bet to 8,200 from the hijack before Mehmet Dalkilic, in the small blind, reraised to 22,000. Action folded back to Chilaud, who called.

Both players checked the {7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop. The turn came the {9-Spades} and Dalkilic slid his entire stack forward, a bet of around 50,000.

Chilaud snap-called and showed {a-Spades}{10-Spades} for top pair and the nut flush draw. Dalkilic only had {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a straight draw and couldn't connect on the river.

"Nice hand," he said as he tapped the felt before making his exit.
